Pricing

No minimum monthly fees, No contract commitment period
Only a 0.5% - 2% fee on orders processed, with a per order fee cap.

The pricing is based on results -- you incur no monthly costs if you don't receive any orders.

• 2% processing fee on orders (before shipping/tax) that you receive and that you actually ship
• When your monthly online sales exceeds $3,000, the fee drops to 0.5% for subsequent orders.
• For high-dollar orders, the per order fee is capped at $10.
• If you want the orders faxed to you, there is a 15 cent per order surcharge.
• One-time setup fee of $700, half due upon registration, the remainder due when you approve the setup. If you also register for our website service, there is no additional setup fee above the website setup fee.
• NO minimum commitment period
• NO monthly minimum fees

Add-on Components

• Wine Club Registration & Member Management: $15/month + $150 setup (included at no cost in any website hosting plan)
• Wine Club Shipment Processing: $0/month with a 2% transaction fee.

All invoices include an inflation adjustment factor that multiplies the invoice amount by the effect of inflation from December 2011, using the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI-U, US City Average, All Items).

Maintenance Cost of a Shopping Cart System

We sometimes are asked "Why should I pay for each transaction when I could purchase and install shopping cart software on my web server?"

Our response:

1. Do you want your staff to spend time maintaining the software or focus on selling wine?
    
2. Our shopping cart has been custom-developed to meet the unique needs for wine. No generic shopping cart software can properly handle your requirements. Some examples:
   • We provide multiple levels of checks to ensure that wine is not shipped to a post office box.
   • We properly calculate shipping costs when the weight of 750ml bottles vary by wine type.
   • We verify deliverability for those states with dry or moist areas.
   • We request the shipping county only when the Zip Code crosses a county boundary and either the sales tax or deliverability varies between county.
   • We check volume limits per state regulations per order and based on customer/household/company history.
   • We integrate with age verification services to provide online verification of the customer's age, as required by some states.
   • We calculate sales tax for wine at the state-level or municipality-level at the rates for wine shipments.
   • We correctly calculate sales tax for wine, merchandise items, food items, and the portion of shipping cost that is taxable.
   • We enforce adult signature requirements for wine shipment carrier labels.
      
3. We maintain the shopping cart for all compliance rules including sales tax rates, dry areas and volume limits. Our compliance rules are reviewed by a wine compliance company.
    
4. We have integrated our service with popular accounting systems, wine club services, compliance reporting services, fulfillment centers, credit card gateways, and age verification services.
    
5. There are no annual or monthly maintenance fees. Your processing fees are based on what you use. Our second tier pricing is only one-half of one percent.
    
6. You can sell wine, merchandise and online gift certificates through our shopping cart.
   

If you are comparing this service to others with a fixed monthly cost, note that our fees equal $100 for $11,000 of net product sales and $150 for $21,000 of net product sales.
